Quickstart — AI agent
Connect an AI client over MCP and read your first audit. No key to copy.
You are wiring an assistant (Claude, Cursor, VS Code, LangGraph) that acts for a person. About five minutes, and you copy no secret.
1. Connect
claude mcp add --transport http digitalyser https://app.digitalyser.io/api/mcpOther clients: add a remote MCP server at https://app.digitalyser.io/api/mcp. See
Connect Claude for Desktop and claude.ai.
The first call opens a consent screen. Pick one project and tick what the agent may do — the token it receives carries exactly that.
2. Ask for what it can do
Ask the assistant: "List the Digitalyser.io capabilities you can use." It calls listCapabilities
and answers with the catalogue for this credential. A capability you did not tick is absent, not
refused.
3. Read something
Ask: "Give me the audit overview for my project." Reads change nothing, so this is the safe first call.
4. Make it write — and see the guard
Ask the assistant to regenerate the editorial strategy. It gets back a proposal and a diff, shows
you, and only applyProposal writes — after the server recomputes the diff and compares it with the
one you saw.
Some capabilities start real work as soon as they are invoked and consume your monthly quota. The catalogue marks them; see Limits and quotas.
